Voltage Converters : World Voltage Guide | International Travel Adapters Transformers Guide
World Voltage and Power Plugs Guide

Electricity standards and plug adapters used in the parts of the worll differ from region to region. Please note that some countries will vary on regions and may take more than one plug. It's always best to consult your travel company first or alternatively contact one of our personal shoppers on 847-327-1244.

Most electrical power systems are prone to slight variations in voltage due to demand or other factors. However, severe variations in current can damage electrical equipment. The electric power frequency is shown in the number of hertz (cycles per second). Even if voltages are similar, a 60-hertz clock or tape recorder may not function properly on 50 hertz current. All systems described here use alternating current (AC). The plug types listed indicate all types known to be in use in that country. Not all areas of a country may use all types of plugs listed for that country, since there may be regional differences based on the power system in a certain area. To select the Voltage Converter / Travel Adapter / Transformer

How to find correct Voltage Converter
To determine the right voltage converter for your appliance, first find out the voltage (110 or 220 Volt AC) and wattage rating (watts or amps) information on the back or bottom of the appliance or from instruction book of an appliance. If no watts are shown and only amps are shown, multiply the volts (input AC) by the amps to find the watts.

For example,

Volts (AC input) x Amps(amperage) = Watts (Wattage)
110V x 0.7A = 70W
